College Development Committee

College Development Committee for Shri Anand College, Pathardi, is formulated as per the Maharashtra Public Universities Act 2016 (MAH. Act No. VI of 2017) and consisting of the following members, namely: –

President
Vice-President
Secretary
Faculty Representatives (3)
Student Representatives
Non-Teaching Staff Representative
Alumni Representative
Nominee of the Governing Body/Board of Trustees
Industry Representative
Local Community Representative
Member research
Member HOD
IQAC Coordinator

Tenure: The tenure of the CDC members, excluding ex-officio members, shall be five years.
Meetings:
- a. The CDC shall meet at least twice in year (Once in a semester) or as deemed necessary by the Chairperson.
b. Quorum for the meeting shall be 75% of the total members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and recommend policies for the academic and overall development of the college.
2. Review and propose changes to the curriculum.
3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of academic and administrative policies.
4. Advise on infrastructure development and maintenance.
5. Oversee financial matters related to development projects.
6. Foster collaborations with industries and other institutions.
7. Address grievances related to academic and developmental activities.
Decision-Making:
1. Decisions shall be made through consensus. In the event of a tie, the Chairperson shall have the casting vote.
2. b. Major decisions may require the approval of the Governing Body/Board of Trustees.
Reporting:
1. a. The CDC shall submit regular reports to the Governing Body/Board of Trustees regarding its activities and recommendations.
Amendments:
1. a. Amendments to this constitution may be proposed by any member and shall be approved by a two-thirds majority of the CDC members.
Meetings:
1. a. The CDC shall meet at least twice in year (Once in a semester) or as deemed necessary by the Chairperson.
2. b. Quorum for the meeting shall be 75% of the total members.
