Women Empowerment Cell
The Women Empowerment Cell, also known as the Gender Equality Cell, at Shri Anand College, Pathardi, has been operational since 2016. Established in accordance with Section 3.2 (15) of the UGC Guidelines (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015, its primary objective is to cultivate a safe and supportive environment for both employees and students, ensuring their education is free from biases, discrimination, hostility, or sexual harassment.
Vision: Our vision is to facilitate gender equality mechanisms and advance the empowerment of women.

- Creating a conducive work environment
- Fostering mutual respect among all genders
- Enhancing women’s empowerment

- Developing an annual gender sensitization action plan
- Conducting awareness programs on gender equality
- Engaging in activities to empower women and elevate societal consciousness on gender issues
- Promoting gender harmony among stakeholders through various initiatives
