SC/ST Reservation and Welfare Cell
The Establishment of the SC/ST Reservation and Welfare Cell within the college is designed to safeguard the specific interests of students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Its primary objective is to offer assistance to these students in areas where they might face challenges. The committee bears the responsibility of addressing any disputes and rectifying violations of the rights of SC/ST students, faculty, and staff within the Higher Education Institution (HEI).
Aim and Objectives:
- To receive and resolve complaints related to disputes based on caste.
- To promptly address the complaints received within a designated time frame.
- To guide students in accessing scholarships for their benefit.
- To raise awareness among students about various welfare schemes, policies, and acts implemented by governmental and non-governmental organizations.
- To cultivate an inclusive environment through the organization of diverse activities.
- To provide remedial teaching when necessary.
- To facilitate a smooth and trouble-free environment for SC/ST students within the institution.
