The Department of Mathematics came into existence in 1991. The Department offers graduate courses for first- and second-year’s students. Mathematics is taught as a subsidiary subject for B.Sc. Chemistry and Physics at college. Emphasizing a student-centric teaching approach, the department has witnessed a consistent improvement in program outcomes, with students achieving commendable results. In addition to academic endeavors, the department actively participates in various programs and celebrations aimed at fostering a scientific attitude among students. Events such as Mathematics Day, Teachers Day, Poster Exhibition, Science Day, and more are organized to enrich the learning experience and contribute to the holistic development of students.
