Department of Economics Established in June 2001.The Department of Economics is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of economic principles, theories, and applications. Our mission is to equip students with analytical skills, critical thinking, and a comprehensive knowledge of economic phenomena to address contemporary challenges.
Objectives:
- Provide a robust academic curriculum that covers core economic principles, quantitative methods, and real-world applications.
- Promote a culture of innovation and encouraging faculty and students to contribute to economic literature and address pressing economic issues.
- Engage in policy-oriented research and analysis to provide insights into economic policies at local, national, and global levels.
- Provide students with a global perspective on economic issues, fostering an understanding of international trade, finance, and development.
